We publish the prices most Charlotte companies hide

Ask three companies here to swap the same 50-gallon tank and the quotes come back at $1,875, at $8,600, and in one Mecklenburg case at $10,728. Same house, same tank, same afternoon. That gap is not parts and it is not labor. It is what happens when nobody has to show you a number until a technician is already standing in your garage.

So we did the opposite. Every service page on this site carries a real Charlotte price range, the repair-first rule we actually use with an age and a dollar figure attached, and the local detail that decides what is wrong with your heater: soft water, the pressure the utility itself documents, and which permits genuinely apply here.

We work on water heaters and nothing else, and our technicians are paid to fix and install rather than to sell, so nobody here earns more by talking you into a new tank. Some of what is on this site will talk you out of calling us. That is the point.

Why homeowners across the metro call us

Every one of these is something any Charlotte plumber could offer, and almost none of them do. That is the whole reason they are worth listing.

Water heaters are all we doNot general plumbing with water heaters attached. That is why the parts are on the truck, why the diagnosis is quicker, and why we can be specific about what things cost here rather than quoting a national average.
We cover the whole metro, not just the cityCharlotte and Mecklenburg County, plus Cabarrus, Gaston, Union, Iredell, Lincoln and Rowan. Each town has its own utility and permit office, and we work to whichever one applies to your address.
Every price is published before you callReal ranges on every service page, so you have something to measure any quote against, including ours. Almost nobody in this market publishes a number at all.
Nobody is paid on what they sellOur technicians are paid to install and repair. No one earns more by finding a bigger problem, which is the conflict at the centre of most water heater complaints in this city.
Licensed and insured, and we handle the permitWhere the job needs one we pull it, through whichever office covers your address. Where it genuinely does not, we tell you that instead of adding a fee.
We service what is actually installed hereRheem, Bradford White, Navien and Rinnai among others, tank and tankless, gas, electric and hybrid heat pump units that most local firms will not touch.

Our process

No tablet, no three tiers, no trip to the van to check with the office. This is what happens on every job we take, whether it ends up being a repair, a replacement or a new install.

01

Call or send the details

What the unit is doing, roughly how old it is, and where it sits. Troubleshooting on that call is free, and sometimes it ends with us telling you that you do not need us.

02

A price before a van leaves

An accurate range for the job your symptom points at, sales tax already in it. You decide whether it is worth booking before anyone is dispatched.

03

A two-hour arrival window

Not a full day of waiting in. Same-day across most of the metro, and we answer at night and at weekends when it genuinely will not wait.

04

We diagnose before we recommend

Nobody here is paid commission, and the rule we use to choose between repair and replacement is published on this site with an age and a dollar figure attached.

05

One visit wherever we can

Common parts travel with us, so most jobs finish first time rather than becoming a second appointment. 100% satisfaction guaranteed.

Common questions

Local specifics rather than national boilerplate: the water chemistry, the pressure, the permit rules and the prices that actually apply here.

Which areas do you cover?

Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, and the surrounding markets in Cabarrus, Gaston, Union, Iredell, Lincoln and Rowan counties. That includes Concord, Mooresville, Gastonia, Monroe, Huntersville, Matthews, Indian Trail, Pineville, Waxhaw, Mint Hill, Cornelius, Kannapolis, Stallings, Weddington and Mount Holly. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call and ask.

Do you work on tankless as well as tank water heaters?

Both, and we would rather talk you through the difference honestly than sell you a conversion. Tankless suits some Charlotte homes very well and is a poor decision in others, usually because of the gas line size. There is a full tankless section on this site covering install, repair, maintenance and replacement.

Do you do anything besides water heaters?

No, and that is deliberate. A general plumber sees water heaters occasionally. We see them all day, which is why the common failure parts travel on the truck and why most jobs finish in one visit rather than two.

Which brands do you service?

Rheem, Bradford White, Navien and Rinnai among others, across gas, electric, and hybrid heat pump units. We check the serial off the data plate before quoting, because gas control valves and heat exchangers often carry multi-year warranty cover that homeowners never knew about.

Are you licensed and insured in North Carolina?

Yes, and the licence number is published next to the prices on every service page on this site. Professional installation is also what keeps the manufacturer warranty and your home insurance cover intact, which is worth more than the saving on an unlicensed job.

Do I need to be home for the appointment?

Someone over eighteen needs to let us in and approve the price before we start. After that you do not need to stand over us. We will walk you through what failed and where the shutoffs are before we leave.

Tell us the symptom.
We will tell you what it costs.

Free phone troubleshooting first. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, that is what you will hear, and it will not have cost you anything.
